Cathryn "Billie" Stutz Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Cathryn "Billie" Stutz age 92 passed away November 6, 2015. She was born in New Philadelphia, OH, a daughter of the late Adrian and Margaret Diefenbacher. Billie was a very talented ballet dancer as a child and a 1941 graduate of New Philadelphia High School serving as the captain cheerleader. She moved to Canton in 1959, raised a family, was a member of Church of the Savior, and involved in Nazir Caldron. Billie always looked forward to attending Canton Ballet's Performances, playing the "Puzzle Bug Slot Machine", and riding roller coasters at Cedar Point (even at age 90!) Billie had a great sense of humor and will be missed by all. Survived by her two sons, Jeff Stutz of Canton, Doug (Gayle) Stutz of Akron, and one daughter Beth (Kirk) Bletzacker of Canton; six grandchildren, Zachery (Cory) Levy of Massillon, Lindsay (Jamie) Mellor of Akron, Emily (Derek) Gordon of Canton, Jason and Hayden Stutz of Canton, and Alex Bletzacker of Canton; four great grandchildren, Oscar and Carson Levy, Zeke Gordon, and Sydney Mellor; sister-in-law, Betty Stutz of New Phila, nieces, nephews, and many friends at Mayfield Manor including dear friend Eva Lescallett. As per Billie's wishes, there will be no services. Contributions in Billie's memory may be made to either Canton Ballet 1001 Market Ave N.
