Cynthia A. Miles-Johnson Obituary (1952 - 2021)

Cynthia A. Miles-Johnson “Spirit Lady” went home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2021. Cynthia was born in Dennison, OH on May 11, 1952 to her father, the late David Miles and her mother, Dorothy Miles who resides in Uhrichsville, OH. Also preceded in death by her ex-husband, Robert Johnson; sister, Barbie Miles; brother, Ben Allen. Cynthia leaves to cherish her memory, daughter and caregiver, Misty (Leon) Dotson; one son, Jeremy Felton; grandsons, Isaiah, Elijah, Josiah, Zechariah, Julian (Rickeya), and Brent.; granddaughters, Noel, Kaliya, Kanei, and Zariah; sister, Susan Miles-Allen; brothers, David Miles and Daniel (Jodie) Miles; special friend Jerry Felton; like daughters, Shanda Felton and Porsha Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and students. She attended Claymont City Schools, Class of 1970. She graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelors degree in Education and then finished with her Masters Degree. She began her 36 year teaching career with Akron Public Schools. She was a light that shined in many! Forever loved! A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 4-5 pm in the Schneeberger Funeral Home followed by a celebration of her life at 5 pm.
