David L. Roshong 8/14/1937 – 3/24/2017 A North Canton resident and member of Little Flower Parish, he retired as a Captain from the Stark County Sheriff Department. Also a member of McKinley Chapter, F.O.P. and Buckeye State Sheriffs’ Association. Preceded in death by parents, Earl and Florence Roshong; sister, Jane Manley; youngest son, Brian Roshong. Survived by his wife, Theresa “Terry” Roshong; children, Christopher (Jodi) Roshong, Jeff (Paula Campbell) Roshong, Jennifer (Louis) Giavasis; grandchildren, Lt. Steven Roshong, Molly Roshong, Kevin Quinn, Emily Quinn, Philip Giavasis and Athena Giavasis; sister, Judy (Paul) Coward; brother-in-law, Ret. Judge John Boggins and sister-in-law, Mary Mueller. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday March 29, 2017 at 11 am at Little Flower Parish with Fr. Leo J. Wehrlin as celebrant. Family will receive friends before the mass from 10 am until 10:45 am when F.O.P. service will be held. He will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery next to his beloved son, Brian.
