Doris L. Drotleff Obituary (1931

Doris L. Drotleff, 92, passed away on May 15, 2023 following a decline in health. She was born January 26, 1931 in Madison, Wisconsin to Allen and Ina (Noel) Felland. Doris graduated from Madison East High School class of 1948 and attended business school where she excelled in bookkeeping. She married her husband Fred, in 1956 celebrating 58 years of marriage before he passed in 2014. She is survived by Daughter, Karen (Ron) Broadwater and son, Fred (Mary) Drotleff. She is also survived by grandchildren; Jeremy (Molly) Broadwater, Jason (Kelley) Broadwater, Jamie (Ken) Sinker, and Eric (Joy) Muehlenbein. Doris leaves behind great grandchildren Drew, Sam, Joe, Lucy, and Bryan Broadwater; Lily Michael, Trinity Sinker, Angela Lochmueller; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Fred; a sister and two brothers, and; "Foster Mom" Pauline (Domer) Jones-Henderson. Doris was employed in banking before settling down to become a homemaker. She is fondly remembered for banking the best pies and delicious Christmas cookies. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke's Lutheran Community for their care and compassion.
