Edward "Ed" H. Deskin Obituary (1953 - 2019)

Edward “Ed” Hale Deskin Jr., 65, passed away after a long battle with cancer. Born in Iowa and Iowa proud. He served in the Navy as an ADJ-3. Married to his wife Joyce, for 45 years. He is survived by his daughters Heather Vanest, Geri Deskin, his son Richard, and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Deskin. He enjoyed his 6 grandchildren Morgan, Austin, Cody, Riley, Richard Jr, and Megan. He is joining his parents, Ed and Norma, along with his sister Cindy in Heaven. Also survived by his siblings Bill, Larry and Barb Deskin. Ed was employed by Downtown Ford, 77 Colonial Lanes, and most recently AutoZone. Ed was a member of FOE #2223 and Greater Canton Bowling Association. He enjoyed fishing, watching all racing, and golfing. His greatest love beside his family was bowling. He will be cremated with no services. A Celebration of Life will be announce at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Stark Co. Bowling Assoc., Youth Scholarship Fund, 1414 Market Ave, N. Canton, OH 44714.
