Elizabeth Anne Day

Elizabeth A. Day (90) of Canton, Ohio passed away peacefully early Monday morning on May 18, 2020 of natural causes. Bornon February 23, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Myrtle and Ralph Catlin. She was married 52 years to the late William Day who was the love of her life. Also preceded in death by daughter Barbara (Day) Russell and 5 siblings. Survived by sons Jerry (Laurie) Day and Dan (Tamera) Day. Daughters Linda (Mike) Lauer and Mary (George) McGrew. She was a loving and devoted mother who was beautiful inside and out. Also leaving behind 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. Beth and her late husband were the proud owners and retired from B & B Janitorial Service and a coffee shop called Bessie’s Corner. In her spare time, she was an avid card, Bingo and Kismet player. She liked the Cleveland Browns, but loved Bernie Kosar. She loved the Cleveland Indians and watched every game during the team’s championship run in the 90’s. She is very loved and will be deeply missed. Beth was a very strong, determined and hardworking woman who always said what was on her mind. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother that will always hold a special place in our hearts.
