Ellene Daly-Santmyer (nee McCarty)
89 yrs of Canton, passed away July 3, 2017 surrounded by her family. Born in Massillon, Dec 18, 1927 to the late Harry Thomas & Pearl Esther ( Tschudy) McCarty.
She was a descendent of The Daughters of the American Revolution, First Ohio Pioneers, and Daughters of the Union Civil War. She Attended McKinley High School. She was a stay at home mom to her 8 children, until the death of her husband John Edward Daly in 1964.
She worked at Rold Gold Pretzel retiring in 1988
She was married to Harry Santmyer in 1989 until his death in 2001.
She was preceded in death by her Brother Ralph McCarty, Son Foster Daly, and Great-Grandson Michael McCollister. She is survived by Brother Loren McCarty and Sister Zella Yerian,
