Ernest J. Romy Obituary (1936 - 2015)

Ernest J. Romy February 4, 1936 -February 11, 2015 Graduate of Louisville High School, Class of '54, he attended Ohio State University before serving in the U.S. Army from 1959-1961. Ernie worked at Republic Steel for 41 years and was secretary/treasurer of Akron Canton Darts Club for 20 years. He enjoyed collecting guns and playing darts. Preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Mary Romy; wife, Dolores Rodriguez Romy. Survived by daughters, Tina Romy, Karen (Fiancé- Paul Rauvola) Romy, and Ann Johnson; grandchildren, Amanda Romy, Mikayla Smith, Vance Brothers, Nikki Brothers, Nicolas and Cody Johnson; great grandchildren, Mason Brothers and Anastasia Arp; sister, Betty Lamm; brother, Clyde (Sally) Romy; numerous nieces and nephews.
