Gary A. Suter

GARY ALLEN SUTER, 71 of Navarre, OH, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Aultman Hospital.
Gary was born on July 17, 1945 in Canton, Ohio to Kenneth & Maxine (Horsey) Suter. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1963. On November 14, 1964 he married the love of his life, the former Patricia A. Hinton. Gary was employed as a salesman in the automotive industry for over 30 years. He was a long-time member and past president of McKinley Eagles 2370. He was a proud grandpa and loved cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events and recitals when he was well. Gary loved to vacation at Myrtle Beach. He loved his Cincinnati Bengals and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Gary is survived by his loving and ever-so supportive wife of 52 years, Pat and his 3 children Debbie (Nick) Schlabach of Wilmot, Denise Cummins of Massillon and John Gary (Monica) of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren- Marisa, Bryce, Nick, Carli and Luke. He is also survived by his brother and best friend Thomas Suter of Canton along with sister-in-laws Maxine Suter and Joan Tolson, brother-in-law O.C. Pollard and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Shirley, Betty, Nancy, Kenneth, David and Victor.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Wilmot Fire Department, 204 Mill Street, Wilmot, OH. Family and friends are invited between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.
