Kenneth M. McKinney Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kenneth M. McKinney age 84,passed away May 15, 2022. Preceded in death by his parents, Llewellyn and Lottie McKinney; sisters, Mary (Bill) Fortney, Shirley (Ken) Breedlove. Survived by his wife, Roberta (Parsons) McKinney; children, Kim Jackson, Ken (Shari) McKinney Jr., Mike (Terry Hill) McKinney, Kathy (Kenny) Cormier; 11 grandchildren; 16 grand grandchildren. Ken and Roberta are members of The Father’s House in Canton. He was a faithful, loving provider, as a husband, father and grandfather. He was employed for 31 years at Dyneer’s and Aspro where he was a Lead Man. He was Vice President for the Machinists Union and negotiated 13 union contracts. Ken retired from Detroit Diesel after 13 years. Ken and Roberta traveled on 25 cruises; the most favorite one being Alaska. He was an avid golfer and loved the game next to sunny days at the beach. A celebration of his life will be Friday, May 20, 2022 at 6 pm at The Father’s House, 3951 Fulton Dr. N.W. Canton, OH 44718. Pastor W. L. "Webb" Parsons officiating. Friends and family are welcome to pay respects from 4-6 pm before the celebration. Pall Bearers will be Jr. McKinney, Mike McKinney, Michael McKinney, Brandon Slatzer , Kenny Cormier, Nathan Golden. Burial will be private in Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, you may send memorials in Ken’s memory to The Father’s House, 3951 Fulton Dr. N.W., Canton, OH 44718.
