Klaus Dieter Kuttrus Obituary (1928 - 2021)

Klaus Dieter Kuttrus, age 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 27, 2021. Klaus was born on November 26, 1928 in Heydekrug, East Prussia, Germany. Due to the circumstances after WWII, he started a new life with his parents in the Western part of Germany. In 1956, he immigrated from Dortmund, Germany to Canton, Ohio. He was a loving husband to his wife Gail (Jones) for 60 years. Klaus and Gail have four sons, Mark (Angela), Ted (Brandy), Tom (Gina), and Jack (Chasity) and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ursula Gensel. Klaus retired from the Timken Company after 40 plus years of service in 1995. He was a member of the Canton Ski Club, The Hall of Fame Luncheon Club, Trinity United Church of Christ, and the Jackson Township Highway Advisory Committee. He enjoyed snow skiing, water skiing, volleyball and watching Ohio State and Jackson High School sporting events. Calling hours will be Friday from 5-7 pm in the Schneeberger Funeral Home. Private services and burial in Sunset Hills Memory Garden will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Trinity United Church of Christ.
