Laverne Faye Banks Obituary (1929

Laverne Faye Banks went home to be with the Lord and beloved family and friends who have gone on before her. She was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on Saturday, August 31, 1929 to the late James and Ina (McGuire) Easterling. She is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth R. Banks and daughter, Patricia A. Sheets; sister, Gay McGuire and brother, Victor Easterling. She retired from the Eberly Co. and was a faithful member of Canton Baptist Temple. Laverne loved travel, fishing, flowers, and was a fabulous cook. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 65 years, Walter Eugene Banks; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and John Gresser; grandchildren, David R. Horton, Daniel R. (Kristy) Horton, Brent (Terry) Sheets, Kevin Banks, Kara Banks, Jackie Lindamood and Kelly Gresser and many, many great grandchildren; brother, Donald (Donna) Easterling.
