Lester V. Bristow Obituary (1933 - 2020)

Lester V. Bristow age 87, passed away peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born in Harrisburg, IL to the late Samuel and Effie Bristow of which he was the ninth of eleven children. A member of Arlington Avenue Church of God where he served as a greeter and usher. He also served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Babcock and Wilcox and Slesnicks as a crane operator. Also preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher; four brothers and four sisters. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Myra Jeanette Bristow; children, Charlene (Michael) Eisert, Randy (Reid) Bristow, Terry (Joan) Bristow, Tim, Todd, and Kevin Bristow; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Mona and Barbara and many nieces and nephews all of whom he loved very much A celebration of his life will be Tuesday December 22, 2020 at 10:30 am at Arlington Avenue Church of God 142 Arlington Ave. N.W.
