Michael "Mike" R. Lombardi Obituary (1953 - 2022)

Mike Lombardi, 68, of Canton, OH passed away Thursday July 28th surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born August 31st, 1953 in Canton to the late Michael and Angela (Mucci) Lombardi. Mike graduated from Canton Central Catholic, attended Xavier and Akron University, and spent his career in the construction industry. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Angela Lombardi, brothers in law Blaine Bertram and Chris Wolf. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Lisa (Wolf) Lombardi; four children, Lori (Trent) Huff and their children, Rachel and Tyler, Jill (Matt) Heimburg and their children, Deacon and Vera, Jennifer (Amanda) Lombardi, Mike (Melissa) Lombardi and their children, Isabel, Gabrielle, Michael, and Sammy; his sister, Linda Lombardi Morgan; sisters in law, Diane Bertram and Connie Wolf and several nieces and nephews. Mike was a loving husband, father, and friend to all. He lived a life to lead by example, by being fair, honest, and provided to any of those in need around him. He passed on his love of family traditions and spending quality time with those that had the pleasure of knowing him. His kind heart and gentle words of wisdom will be missed, but remembered by many. As a builder, he was the rock and foundation for his family, and strong values have been built for generations to come. Mike will have a Funeral Mass at St. Michaels Parish Monday morning at 10:00 am, August 1st. The family will receive family and friends before the mass at 9:00 am, as well as immediately following.
