Michael A. Windell Obituary (1954 - 2016)

Michael A. WIndell, 61, of Louisville, OH, passed away Monday April 4th, 2016 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. For the past 4 years, Mike was under the care of the exceptional staff at The Laurels of Massillon. Mike was employed by the Hoover Company for over 30 years where he also served on their recreation committee as the chairman until the company closed. He also served as the Holly Hills Baseball Association’s President for several years. Mike loved being involved in all things sports related as he coached baseball for many years and was an active member in the Louisville Booster Club. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Reid and Ruth Windell and brother, Joseph Windell. Mike is survived by sisters Deborah Anderson and Mary (Tom) Rowinsky; brother Tom (Gayle) Windell; daughter Kara (Damon) Ninham; sons Nathan (Jill) Windell and Jared Windell and 7 beautiful granddaughters Alexus, Kamarie, Kenzington, Kennedy, Taylor, Teagan and Alaina. It was Mike’s wishes to not have any services. Donations can be made in Mike’s name to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
