Moses 'Moe' Haisook Lee, age 44, passed away on September 4, 2016, after battling various complications from diabetes. He was born on October 9, 1971 in Bronx, New York to Hazel and the late Jay Choon Lee. He grew up in Canton, Ohio and graduated from McKinley high school in 1990. He obtained a massage therapy certificate from Stark State College in 2001. On December 29, 1996, Moses married the love of his life, Jeanie Swigart. They had dreams of sharing their 20th year anniversary this December. God blessed them with four beautiful children, Joshua, Caleb, Gabriel and Mia. They reside in Perry township. Go Panthers! If you knew Moses, you knew he loved good food! He really enjoyed finding the perfect meal off the beaten path. He was truly passionate about creating recipes that people would enjoy. He made an assortment of dishes that soon became everyone's favorite. His family loved his extravagant Christmas dinners! During his life, he bartended over 15 years at various establishments, Sadie Rene's, Harbor Inn, Pelican Cove, formerly Panini's and the Pub. His patrons could always count on Moses' quick wit, ready ear to listen and ability to whip up the perfect drink. He currently worked at Best Buy and enjoyed his coworkers and customers by always making them laugh and smile. Moses was preceded in death, by his father, Jay Choon Lee. Moses is survived by his mother, Hazel Lee, wife, Jeanie Lee, children, Joshua, Caleb, Gabriel and Mia, sister, Susan (Bill) Hyjek and their children, Aaron, Nathan, and Sean; brother Allen Lee, grandmother, Jung Soon Kim, uncle, Jay Sheek (Kyunghee) Lee, uncle, Hai Sung (Kyung Ok) Jung, cousins, Rosa (Peter) Paek and children, Grayson and Lincoln, Joon Jung, Esther Lee and Daniel Lee and multiple friends. Moses' family would like to especially thank Dr. Maria Young and her caring staff, Dr. Deganhard, Dr. Rajan, Dr. Kelley, Amy Hazel C.N.P., the entire Aultman dialysis staff, Aultman Hospital, especially staff at the ER department, 4 South, 5 North, CICU and MICU for their compassionate and relentless care. Moses certainly didn't love being a patient but he really appreciated you! Our family would also like to thank Monica Plack, the Aultman therapy staff, Patty Knotts, and the Perry Helping Perry program for their generous support and love through the years during difficult times. Calling hours will be held at Schneeberger funeral home on Friday from 4-7pm and one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral service will be at Perry Christian church at 11am on Saturday with burial service afterwards at Calvary cemetery. A luncheon will be provided at the fellowship hall at Perry Christian church following the burial service. We invite you to join our family to celebrate Moses' life and guests will be provided the opportunity to write a favorite memory of Moses, for a keepsake for his children.
