Nicholas "Nick" W. Conley Sr. Obituary (1942 - 2018)

Nicholas W Conley Sr born 9/25/42 to Lawrence and Miriam (Hoff) Conley. Nick passed peacefully 9-8-2018 after an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Canton Oh, graduate of Timken High School, and owner of Conley's Service and General Body and Towing. Nick was preceded in death by his parents,Larry Conley and Miriam Conley Whiteman, step-father Walter Whiteman, brothers Larry and Pat Conley. step-sister Martha Whiteman and wife Gloria Conley. Survived by his children, Kimberly K Conley, Nick (Tara) Conley, grandchildren, Kristen Tyler and Nicole Conley, Tucker Speakman, and Alec Penrod. Siblings, Mike (Nancy) Conley, Sally (Tom) Oyster. Judy Gardner, girlfriend, as well as many nieces, nephews and their children. Nick Sr. had an unspoken pride in his children and grandchildren and was well known for his love of old cars, especially Caddys. He was a member of the Ex Newsboys an avid Browns fan and loved to make people smile. Services will be Thursday at 11 am at the First Baptist Church, 4110- 38th St. N.W., Canton, Oh 44718 where friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 pm and one hour before services Thursday from 10-11 am. Pastors Nancy Conley and Jeffrey Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice to honor his memory.
