Richard P. "Dick" Hamlin Obituary (1932 - 2015)

Richard P. "Dick" Hamlin. Dick, a loving husband father and grandfather passed away from this life at age 83 on December 18, 2015. Dick is survived by his wife, Sue Hamlin; his children, Richard, David, Bret and Lori Hamlin. Dick was born in Canton Ohio, he graduated from McKinley high school and Ohio University. He is remembered as a champion swimmer and an avid golfer. Dick was a military veteran serving in the Army during the post World War II years. Dick worked hard all his life to take care and provide for the most important thing to him, his family. He worked at Diebold Inc. for over 47 years. There are no words that can adequately describe how much Dick will be missed by his Family and friends. Services will be Tuesday at 11 am in the funeral home with The Very Rev. Ronald Klingler officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Church Cemetery. Friends and family will gather at the funeral from 10-11 am before services.
