Richard "Bo" Ritch Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Richard “Bo” Ritch of Canton OH passed away unexpectedly on July 30th, 2016 at the age of 43. Bo was born to parents Charles “Sonny” and Margaret Ritch on August 13th, 1972 in Canton OH. He grew up as the eldest child and attended GlenOak High School for 3 years and then graduated from McKinley High School in 1990. After moving to Alliance OH, Bo began to put his talents to use as an automotive mechanic. Many years later, he returned to his hometown in Canton to be closer to his family. There he pursued his dream and opened his own automotive garage called “Gear Headz”. Many loved and knew Bo for his “charming” personality and everlasting humor. He would stop whatever he was doing to help out someone in need. He was very much loved by many and will be forever missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Charles “Sonny” and Margaret Ritch; his sister, Jennifer Ritch; his children; Heather and Angel Ritch (mother, Crystal Ritch) and Ashley, Bryon, Hannah, and Alexis Carnes (mother, Heather Ziegler); his grandchildren, Damien and Destiny Hall, Prestin, La’niaha, and HeavenLeigh Ziegler, his grandmother; Dorothy Ritch, his aunts and uncles; Larry and Linda Miller, Ken and Jan Ritch, Robert and Shirley Ritch, Marianne Ritch and Shaun Howatae; his only niece, Jena Lamp; his cousins; Jason, Aaron, Brian, Lori, Gary, Katie, and Scotty. Close personal friends include; Eric Miller and Robert Lamp. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Earl “Red” and Leona Miller and, John C. Ritch A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on August 8th, 2016 at: Canton Freewill Baptist Church 2817 Harmont Ave NE Canton, OH 44705 Doors will open at 5:30pm, service at 6:00pm, with dinner served afterwards.
