Richard B. Zanin Sr. of Jackson Twp., passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 surrounded by his family. Born May 28, 1929 in Powhatan Pt. OH to the late Rudy and Sarah Zanin. Graduate of Lehman High School, Class of ’47 and retired Union bricklayer for 50 years. Resident of Lake Cable for 63 years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children.. Survived by wife of 64 years, Gloria Shotwell Zanin; children, Richard Zanin II, Carol (Bruce) Norris, Kathleen (John) Garrini and Rick Zanin III; grandchildren, Sabrina Zanin, Elizabeth Haggerty, Anthony Augustine, Cody Norris, Ashley Garrini, Dominic Garrini, Amanda Zanin, Samantha Zanin, and five great grand children. Brother and sister-in-law Rudy (Dorie) Zanin of CA; sister-in-law, Carol Shotwell. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 10 am at St. Peter Church. Burial in North Lawn Cemetery.
