CELEBRATION OF A GOOD MAN ROBERT L WATSON
NOVEMBER 10, 1935 -January 16, 2018
A good man has passed away on January 16, 2018. Robert was a man all
about his family, just like God! A man of integrity and honor, he was gentle and meek knowing who he was. Born to Eugene and Sheba Watson in Sanford, North Carolina on November 10, 1935 along with his twin brother James L. Watson who was 10 minutes older! Preceded in the death of his wife of 60 years Emma J Watson and brothers James L Watson, Eugene Watson Jr., parents Eugene and Sheba Watson. An honorable man who cared for his wife and stuck with her until her death. A man of faith who prayed over his wife although sick himself. Survived by his children Anthony (Tony) Watson of Massillon, Ohio, Lisha Watson of Canton, Ohio, granddaughter Ashley Anderson of Massillon, Ohio, great grandson Terrence Anderson of Massillon, Ohio, sister Jesse Washington of Canton, Ohio, many nieces and nephews, in laws.
For 40 years Robert worked for the Timken Company where he was known as
the "Roadrunner' because of his energetic, fast pace walking while working! Robert loved the outdoors, walking in the park and gardening which he enjoyed sharing the vegetables! A member of Mt Nebo U.H.C under Pastor Mary Wheat later attended Cathedral of life church under Pastor M. Dana Gammill. We will miss you dad!! What a great example you were in work ethics, character. We love you! See you and mom later in heaven!!
The family would to thank Brookdale Senior Living Community and Brookdale
Hospice for their kindness and care. We will celebrate his life on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Cathedral of Life 31st St. Campus with Pastor M. Dana Gammill officiating. He will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family suggests donations in his memory be made to your favorite church or charity
