Ruth Ann Lau Age 84 Ruth Ann Lau of Canton, Ohio was called home into the arms of Jesus Saturday Apr 9, 2022 at AlterCare Nobles Pond. Even as we mourn the loss of her presence with us, we celebrate her life and who she was to the people that she loved. Ruth Ann was born May 23, 1937 in Salem Ohio to the late Joseph and Ruth Greenwood. She was preceded in death by husband of 58 years, Homer Lau. Ruth Ann is survived by children Daniel (Lori) Lau, Connie (Kevin) Modock, Mark (Tricia) Lau, and Sheryl Lau; 12 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Ruth Ann graduated from Salem High School in 1955 and attended Kent State University. She proudly worked 11 years at the Academy Preschool in Canton, Ohio, and was a charter member of Job’s Daughters International. She was known by her family for her amazing cooking and baking skills, and she blessed others with her countless hours of knitting afghans as gifts. In their retired years, she and her husband Homer enjoyed spending time traveling and camping in their RV and were members of the Buckeye Cruisers Club. Memorial service will be at Stanwood Community Church on Thursday April 21st, 2022 at 12:30pm. 14715 Stanwood St. SW Navarre, OH 44662. Come join us to honor and celebrate Ruth Ann.
