WAYNE A. MARION, age 72, of Canton. Passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon in his home after a lengthy illness. He was born June 22, 1946 in Canton Ohio. The son of the late John and Eleanor (Mitchell) Marion. Wayne was the last of the original Marion roofing brothers. He spent over 50 years in the business with his brothers and sons. He was a great father and provider. Wayne enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had a great sense of humor. He also enjoyed doing yard work, feeding the birds, watching golf and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by wife Elaine (Minor) Marion and 7 brothers: John, Ted, Paul, Mike, Jab, Fred and Ken. Sister Linda Zalesky. Nephew Wayne E. Marion and niece Jolynn Papuga. He is survived by: sons Wayne and Doug of Canton, 1 special grandson Kyle of Canton, 1 caring and loving sister Florence Zalesky of Dover, Ohio, close niece Tracy Nyland and was a great uncle to many nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday December 20, 2018 from 5-7 pm at Schneeberger Funeral Home.
