Lynda Jarrells Born March 11, 1953 – Passed September 3, 2025 Lynda Jarrells, born in Akron, Ohio on March 11, 1953, entered eternal rest on September 3, 2025. She lived a life of quiet strength, steadfast faith, and deep devotion to her family and community. She embodied the words of Roy T. Bennett: “Great things happen to those who don’t stop believing, trying, learning, and being grateful.” Lynda worked many years in retail as a cashier, where she was known for her friendly spirit and dedication. Even after she left formal employment, she continued to work tirelessly for those around her, always putting others before herself. Her faith was also central to her life. As a devoted member of The Father’s House in Canton, she found purpose in worship, fellowship, and service. Through her example, she inspired others with resilience, optimism, and love rooted in faith. Lynda is survived by her loving brother, David Lawson, and her son, Kevin Jarrells. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Glenda Lawson; her son, Jason Jarrells; and her brothers, Kenny and Henry. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory lives on in the love she gave and the lessons she shared. In honor of Lynda’s devotion to her church, memorial contributions may be made to The Father’s House in Canton.
